We have transformed an empty retail unit in Coronation Square, Cheltenham into an interactive Science Centre that is enabling the public to experience, investigate and enjoy hands-on science. The centre is open to the public throughout the year. During school term time the Science Centre provides a robot club on alternate Friday afternoons and a drop-in STEM club (as described below) where you and your child can come along and enjoy completing an experiment together. During school holidays, the centre is open more often and for longer periods. We often also host additional events with special guests and activities.

We are a community interest company seeking to inspire a new generation to love science, technology, engineering and maths. We:

- enable the public to experience, investigate and enjoy hands-on science

- provide science outreach to schools and community groups

- forge links between local STEM-based businesses and the community

- CSG are always looking for partnership opportunities with schools and businesses. We can provide workshops and activities in your settings or we can help with getting your company involved in rewarding outreach programmes facilitating links between you and local schools and families. 

Drop-in STEM club

Our drop-in STEM club is on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month (10am-4pm) and the following Friday afternoon (2pm-5pm). At each session you can work with your child to complete a challenge towards a CREST Star (age 5-7) or CREST SuperStar (7-11) award. If your
child completes 8 challenges, they will get a certificate and badge.

Robot club

When there is no drop-in STEM club, we get our programmable LEGO and robots out at the science centre on term-time Friday afternoons (2pm-5pm). The autumn 2018 sessions will be on 14th and 28th September; 5th and 19th October; 16th and 30th November; 14th December.
