The Wilson Kitchen is a vibrant arts café on the ground floor of The Wilson - Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum offering a dynamic café experience with zoned seating areas. From socialising with friends and family, informal business meetings, to weekend brunches or hot desk working with a laptop, coffee and cake, the arts café provides flexibility in an engaging environment.
Visit the cafe and pick up a loyalty cards - purchase six cups of tea or coffee and receive a free one.
Be inspired by the visual art on display throughout, each painting and artwork is a replica that has been created of pieces in The Wilson’s collection including a colourful museum donated by The Tate London; the painted door showing legendary Cheltenham grocer Mr Whittern; and photographs and artefacts telling the story of explorer Edward Wilson, after whom the art gallery and museum is named. In the comfortable lounge, wallpaper with a distinctive tulip design has been created, inspired by the Arts and Crafts collection with a 1970s twist, the burnt orange and red colours create a relaxing space.
Hot & toasty meal deals
Kids can enjoy a hot meal deal for just £3.50, which includes one toastie. Choose from Cheesy Delight, Ham and Cheese Classic, or Beans and Cheese Melt, plus a drink - orange, blackcurrant, or raspberry squash and a Nestlé Mini Break snack bar. Grown-ups haven’t been forgotten either. Their Grown-Up Toasties are £4.95, served with a delicious golden Welsh rarebit crust for extra flavour. Ask a member of the team for the week’s selection, which may include options like Parma Ham, Mozzarella and Pesto, Chicken Tikka with Mango Chutney, Halloumi with Hot Maple Sriracha, and more veggie or vegan delights.
