The Hollow Bottom is in the rural village of Guiting Power, just around the corner from Cheltenham and has been a bolthole for the racing community for decades – also the scene of many racing celebrations.

A beautiful 17th-Century Cotswold stone building with excellent country views, the Hollow Bottom opened under The Lucky Onion ownership in October 2019. Sporting the family’s signature style, it’s the perfect cosy place to relax with a roaring fire. Outside of race week, the Hollow Bottom is lovely for a quiet lunch or supper. During Summer soak up the sunshine on the terrace.

Continuing the Lucky Onion’s love of lovingly cooked food, tuck into a simple yet scrumptious pub-style menu. Produce is at the heart of each dish with the very best ingredients sourced locally or from within the UK. There’s a top-notch drink list too.

The Lucky Onion is known for its passion for engaging with the local community and Guiting Power does community in spades. Built on a tributary of the River Windrush, this idyllic village has a fascinating history right back to King Edward the Confessor. Hollow Bottom is also a fantastic base for exploring the Cotswolds with some great walks nearby.
