Tuesday 20, 27 July & 17 August: Baby Babble an informal catch up with parents and carers with their babies at Pittville Pump Room.
Friday July 23: Honeymoon Swing Band: jazz, swing, from 6pm
Sunday July 25: An afternoon of Motown and soul with DJ Rob McElvanney, from 2pm
Tuesday July 27: Cheltenham mysteries quiz 3pm – £28.00. An afternoon of eccentricity and fun. Your chance to show off your knowledge of Cheltenham’s secrets and have a go at identifying some of our stranger 19th century objects.
Friday July 30: Five-piece Rhythm & Blues combo Haney’s Big House Band, from 7pm playing in the traditional 40s and 50s style. Their line-up of drums, double bass, guitars and harmonica, uses largely period-vintage instruments to create an authentic sound which is the essence of Haney’s Big House.
Tuesday August 10: Exploring nature in the Arts and Crafts movement 10:30 – £28.00. This talk by curator Kirsty Hartsiotis explores Cotswolds-based Arts and Crafts designers.
Tuesday August 24: Watercolour workshop, painting the view from Pittville Pump Room 10:30 – £28.00. Join watercolour artist Kim Hill in a watercolour sketches workshop using the wonderful view from the pump room across Pittville Park as your inspiration.
Saturday August 7: Jon Clare boogie woogie from 2pm.
Friday August 27: Lady and The Sax: rock, jazz covers and original music, from 6pm
Tuesday August 31: Tiaras – Celebrating beautiful bling. Curator Sophia Wilson will reveal how The Wilson acquired its collection of beautiful tiaras.
Sunday September 12: Five-piece Rhythm & Blues combo Haney’s Big House Band, from 2pm playing in the traditional 40s and 50s style of classic style Chicago and swinging West Coast blues.
Tables are limited to a maximum of six people, or two households and social distancing rules must be followed at all times. Boards are on display to remind customers of the covid19 regulations.
From Monday (17 May) those using Pittville Pump Room car park will need to enter car registration details and display a ticket. A £1 charge will only apply to those wishing to stay for more than two hours (to a maximum of four hours). All queries should be directed to the borough council.
