Roaring into Gloucestershire this Summer! 🦁

In Summer 2025, Lions at Large – The Pride of Gloucestershire Trail will be 'roaring' onto the streets of Cheltenham and Gloucester with 32 large lion sculptures, each beautifully decorated by local artists. They’ll be joined by the Cub Club - a pride of little lions, created by local schools and community groups.

This fun, free, and family-friendly Wild in Art event will turn parks, streets, and open spaces into a vibrant outdoor gallery - celebrating the creativity, culture, and community spirit of Gloucestershire.

Download the app, follow the trail across the neighbouring destinations - Cheltenham and Gloucester - and try to visit them all to be entered into a prize draw to win a fabulous family day out in both Regency Cheltenham and the historic city of Gloucester. 

At the trail's end, the pride will reunite for a roaring farewell weekend. The cubs will return to their home schools and groups and the large lions will be auctioned off to raise funds for new cancer care facilities in Cheltenham - supporting digital consulting rooms, advanced research, and calming outdoor spaces.
