Light Up Cheltenham

  1. Light up Cheltenham wheel
As part of the 2020 Light Up Cheltenham event where more than 30 of the town's buildings will be illuminated in colour, there will be a 35m observation wheel installed in Imperial Gardens. The wheel will be surrounded by floodlit buildings including The Queen's Hotel, The Town Hall, No. 131 The Promenade, and a terrace of ornate Regency buildings. The colour schemes will change over the three weeks and on February 14th, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the whole town will turn red. Close by, buildings like the Municipal Offices and majestic buildings on the Promenade will also be floodlit, as will Neptune’s Fountain.
    1. Join a host of magical characters under the backdrop of Cheltenham's lights. The first 50 little visitors will receive a free gift. Find the magical glowing creatures at The Brewery Quarter from 4 - 4:30pm for photo opportunities, before they move up the high street.
