This year we can look forward to not only world class horse racing but also a live performance by the West Country legends, The Wurzels, who will be taking to the stage on Friday 15 November after racing on Countryside Day, the first day of The November Meeting.

World Grand Prix snooker returns to Cheltenham Racecourse

Snooker fans will be pleased to hear that top stars will be back at Cheltenham Racecourse next February for the Coral World Grand Prix, which was staged for the first time earlier this year.

The prestigious tournament, which brings together 32 of the world’s best players, will run from February 3 to 9 in 2020.

What's on in Cheltenham in September? Things to do this month...

There is no time to be down about the summer being over with many fabulous things to do in Cheltenham this September.  We launched the month with the Cheltenham Festival of Cycling, Cheltenham Paint Festival is currently brightening up our town and next week we have the Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival to look forward to.  We also have ten FREE days of heritage coming up with Cheltenham Heritage Open Days, plus a whole host of open air cinema screenings and live performances.

Today is the first official day of Cheltenham Paint Festival!  Our annual festival attracts leading national and international street artists to our Regency town and this year looks to the best yet with 130 artists expected to take part, creating street art in over 25 different paint locations spread across a 6km (4 mile) trail.  Read on for trail map details and to watch videos of interviews with the street artists.
