The Lucky Onion expands with iconic local racing pub, The Hollow Bottom

We've just received some very exciting news!  Next month, The Lucky Onion will open a new addition to its family of five local properties with newly renovated The Hollow Bottom. The 17th Century Cotswold stone pub has been a staple part of the racing community for decades, it closed suddenly in July with many locals hoping the closure was temporary and it seems those wishes have come true.

The big day is fast approaching!  Tickets go on sale to the general public for The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival this Wednesday, 4th September. (Tickets are already on sale to Cheltenham Festival members).   With The Festival bringing more than 900 of the best writers, thinkers and performers of our time to our vibrant Regency town, what experiences are truly unmissable?   We’ve asked Nicola Tuxworth, Literature Festival Head of Programming, to share her insights and top tips to ensure we make the most of the ten extraordinary days of unique experiences, critical debate and literary revelry.

A beginners guide to the first ever Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival (9-15 September)

This month will see the launch of the first ever Cheltenham Wellbeing Festival, a week-long celebration from the 9th – 15th September 2019, packed full of talks, workshops and events focusing on all areas of wellbeing which aim to help local people across the Cotswolds live life well.

The festival will see over 2000 fitness classes and 70 events happening all over the town, from some of the county’s most exciting studios, experts and venues.
