Cheltenham Playhouse secures planning permission for anticipated redevelopment

The summer holidays are a great time to head to Cheltenham. The town is blooming with flowers and buzzing with people sat outside bars/restaurants enjoying good food and drink. 

As always there are lots of events taking place across the town over the next few weeks.  Here is our pick of some of the unmissable events in Cheltenham in August 2019 including things to do with kids this summer…

Cheltenham Festivals is delighted to announce that Jules Buckley has been appointed as the first Guest Curator for Cheltenham Music Festival from 2020.

The ‘ordinary made extraordinary’ is the goal at the new Chaplais Kitchen when it opens in Montpellier at the beginning of August.

Thousands of people will have the opportunity to get close to the action as the heart of Cheltenham is transformed into a cycle track.

Our Regency town has long been known for its festivals and now it is official, from today we are The Festival Town.

We are quite rightly proud of our year-round festivals and major events programme.  Several of our festivals are world leading and attract thousands of local, regional and international visitors to Cheltenham and the surrounding area.
