The workshops are a great way to learn this relaxing and creative skill. The Beginner's workshop gives you the understanding of the basics so that you can succeed in creating eye catching calligraphy and towards the end of the session they'll create some greeting cards for you to give to friends or family.

In this workshop you'll be learning:
- The differences between calligraphy and cursive
- How to hold your brush pen
- How to create the basic calligraphy strokes
- How to connect the letters
- How to put these together to form the alphabet in a calligraphic style
- Doodles to decorate white space
- Some greeting card designs

You will be provided with a brush pen, some blank greetings cards and a workbook that you'll work with during the event. Your ticket also includes a cuppa and a cake!

The event will be hosted at Boston Tea Party in Central Cheltenham.
