Launched by the Cheltenham BID, the Cheltenham Gift Card is a town-wide initiative which allows you to preload a mastercard-based paper card with cash for them to splash. Unlike other gift cards, the Cheltenham Gift Card has a focus on local, and includes a large number of independent, unique retailers who are only present in Cheltenham, and / or who don’t accept any other gift card.
What is it?
Cheltenham has partnered with mastercard to bring you a pre-payment gift card that can be used in many Cheltenham town centre located stores. Simply buy a card, load some money and spend it just like a debit card. The money doesn't have to be spent all at once and the lucky recipient can choose between food & drink, jewellery, clothes, haircuts and even party accessories.
The maximum limit for the card is £500 at a time, and is a great way of ensuring friends and family spend locally. New businesses are joining frequently, so it’s only going to get more enjoyable to spend too! Once they have it, your friends and family will be able to check their balance conveniently online.

How to use it?
All you need to do is buy a card online and then visit any of the partner retailers to select your gifts. Take them to the counter as normal and pay or part-pay with your Cheltenham Gift Card. It's really that simple.
