The Cheltenham Trust has launched a new charity membership, allowing Cheltenham residents to unlock a variety of great benefits and help make a difference to the local community.

Members will enjoy great value benefits on food and drinks in trust cafes, as well as fast track access and the heads up on the big-name acts before tickets go on sale.

Cheltenham Trust venues

A £50 annual individual membership gives you benefits worth more than £100 including free hot drinks every month; cake on your birthday; fast pass entry to Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room, and the event bars. Members will hear first about great names coming to the venues, meaning you can book as soon as tickets go on sale to secure the best seats in the house. Or choose a couple membership for £90, and receive benefits of more than £200.

Charity membership benefits include:

• Two free hot drinks (of your choice) per month at any trust café.
• Free cake for your birthday at any trust café.
• Fast track access entry to Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room for events, no more queueing.
• Fast track to the main bar or separate members’ bar for events.
• Free drink, of your choice, for your birthday, at any event bar.
• Entry into a monthly prize draw to win a meal for two at any of the trust’s cafes/bars.
• Members’ e-newsletter including exclusive news of forthcoming events and special offers to attend premieres and previews across all venues.

As a charity, any surplus made is invested into inclusive events for all the community to enjoy free of charge.

Your support helps The Cheltenham Trust to provide free access to the town’s history, art and heritage at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and Pittville Pump Room; supports concession rates for the local community to access and enjoy facilities and services at Leisure at Cheltenham; and a reduced rate for local community groups to host events and activities at the heritage venues run by the trust.

This year, The Cheltenham Trust is hosting a free community celebration for the coronation of King Charles III, a free beach party at the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens, hosting an even bigger Retro Americana festival, and expanding the festive lights switch on to a Christmas Festival.

Cheltenham Town Hall is now home to an impressive all year round programme of major festivals, entertainment, exhibitions and functions. Built in 1902-1903 as a venue for social events, it replaced the Assembly Rooms on the High Street, which had been demolished to make way for a bank. Interestingly, unlike most Town Hall's, this grand building in Cheltenham was not built as the seat for a Borough Council, which is instead found in the Municipal Offices across the road on the Promenade.
