Danish homewares store, Søstrene Grene, is set to launch at The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham on Friday 28th April at 10am. There will also be an exciting appearance from Interior Designer and TV Home Stylist, Georgina Burnett, who will officially open the store.

The retail chain will give the store's first 100 customers a free large, tufted rug worth £60 and a canvas goodie bag, filled with a selection of Søstrene Grene products. There will also be refreshments available and live classical music from a string quartet.

Known for its signature Scandinavian aesthetics and affordable prices, the Cheltenham branch will launch as part of Søstrene Grene’s further expansion into the south of England. This will mark the brand’s eleventh store launch in the UK, following the recent openings in Derby, Glasgow and Newbury last year, with more exciting launches in the pipeline.

Located at the High Street entrance of The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham customers can expect regular new product drops and seasonal collections including contemporary interiors, hobby items, children’s toys, soft furniture, kitchen accessories and more.

The 320 sq. metre site will also continue the rollout of Søstrene Grene’s new store concept, ‘Retail for the Senses’, a unique shopping experience designed to invoke the senses. By evolving its trademark labyrinth layout of wooden crates under relaxed, subdued lighting, the new concept helps to create a more interesting and free-flowing journey for customers. Whilst also continuing to share the Danish notion of ‘hygge’, a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging.

Mikkel Grene, CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “We’re very excited to open our Cheltenham store. The Brewery Quarter is a location we have wanted to trade in for a while now and we can’t wait to offer customers a moment of ‘hygge’ in our new store.”

UK Joint Venture partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who already run Søstrene Grene stores across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, are also looking forward to opening their next site.

Norma Jacob, comments: “We’re delighted to be opening our newest store in Cheltenham. The Brewery Quarter is the perfect fit for Søstrene Grene’s minimalistic, Scandinavian designs and we are expecting to see huge demand following our opening in late April.”

Richard Power adds: “The introduction of our new store concept combined with our prime location within the towns leading leisure and dining destination is setting up for a very exciting opening, and we have every confidence that our store will flourish in Cheltenham.”

The official Grand Opening of Søstrene Grene, Cheltenham will take place at The Brewery Quarter on Friday 28th April from 10am.
