This year's Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival, 20 to 22 June 2025, in Montpellier Gardens, is just what we all need after a cold winter indoors; be sure not to miss it.

At the forefront of the festivities are the local chefs, who will dazzle audiences with their innovative cooking techniques and showcase the bounty of the region and why the Cotswolds is a foodie’s destination for fine food.

Ping Coombes – MasterChef Champion

Ping stunned the judges with food inspired by her Malaysian heritage, winning MasterChef 2014. She took the famous trophy home again, winning BBC MasterChef Champion of Champions in 2022 and becoming the first double MasterChef Champion.

Rosemary Shrager - Cooking With The Stars

A mainstay of British TV cookery programmes for the past two decades, Rosemary had years of high-end cookery experience behind her before making the leap onto our television screens, including training with the likes of Pierre Koffman and Jean Christophe-Novelli. A self-taught chef, Rosemary, as a child, always loved food and was eager to know how it was made.

International Wine talks and Tastings

An opportunity to sample some of the best wine from around the world, tastings include wines from France, Spain, Argentina, New Zealand and England.

Cheese masterclasses

A cheese lover's dream to sample the delights on offer in our masterclasses hosted by two leading cheese experts.

• Patrick McGuigan, a cheese writer, and teacher, who has travelled from the Swiss Alps to the pastures of Vermont to interview the world’s best cheese makers and cheesemongers.

Hugo Bourne, cheese expert, cheese producer. The Bourne family have been hand making Cheshire cheese since 1750.

Weber BBQ Stage, with a host of grill masters lining up to share their secrets for grilling, join us and discover the best flavours and techniques for your summer Weber BBQ.

Kadai Fire Bowl Stage, Fire bowl cooking is a more ‘primitive’ cooking style which makes use of multi-level cooking, not only practical and useful, but also enhances a valuable skillset for barbecuing.

Live music offers some of the best bands around. Join friends and family and relax to the music with a glass of award winning perfectly chilled English sparkling wine from Woodchester Valley Winery.

Cheltenham Chilli Eating Championship, 12 brave competitors will battle it out for the everlasting fame of being crowned Cheltenham’s ultimate chilli eating warrior. The competition will start off easy and get progressively harder and hotter, starting with jalapeños, and progressing to Carolina Reapers and beyond!

The Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival offers an exciting day out for children with street theatre and traditional Punch and Judy. There is live music throughout the weekend, and you can buy a range of delicious foods, pickles, sweets, and alcoholic items from over 110 exhibitors.

Tickets are available on pre-order from just £7.50 for an adult ticket. Children under 16 go free, provided a ticket-purchasing adult accompanies them. Pre-booking for the Masterclasses is essential.
