After over 20 years as a fixture on Cheltenham’s Regent Street, The Cheeseworks has opened the doors to its brand new wine bar and kitchen, Upstairs at the Cheeseworks.

Located directly above the much-loved shop, Upstairs offers a relaxed, informal space to enjoy some of the best cheese in the world, local and European wines and a menu that champions seasonal ingredients and handmade accompaniments, including the team’s own pickles and preserves.

The 25-seat venue serves a regularly changing selection of toasties, small plates, charcuterie, and sharing boards, with wines chosen to pair beautifully with British and European cheeses. Local beers and cider are also available.

To celebrate its first season, Upstairs has introduced two evening offers:

Pre-Theatre Offer – From Wednesday to Saturday evenings, enjoy three cheeses and a glass of wine for £15 with a valid ticket for that night’s performance at the Everyman Theatre (just a minute’s walk away).

Wine Board Wednesdays – Every Wednesday evening, settle in with five cheeses and a glass of house wine for just £16. No ticket required.

Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite before curtain up or spending the evening with friends, Upstairs at the Cheeseworks brings over two decades of cheesemongering experience to the table — now with wine and a view.

Opening Hours:

Lunch Service Tuesday to Sunday: 11:00–16:00
