Calling all dinosaur lovers!

On Saturday 24th September Cheltenham will welcome Denzel the roaming dinosaur and his rangers to the town centre for a totally roar-some afternoon of fun.

Denzel has been thrilling people across the West of England all summer; so, the BID are very excited to invite him to Cheltenham.

Denzel will be hard to miss, standing at 6 feet tall and over 4 metres in length, Denzel looks very similar to a T-Rex and has life-like blinking eyes, moving body parts and a fearsome roar!

BID Chief Executive Heath Gunter said: “Denzel always proves very popular wherever he roams, so we are sure he will bring a lot of excitement to Cheltenham with children both young and old. This is sure to be a fun packed day of dinosaur activity so do head into town and take a picture with Denzel and get involved in some of the dinosaur related activities we have going on in the Regent Arcade”

Denzel and his rangers will arrive outside John Lewis at 11am and will make their way to Waterstones for 12pm.

Denzel will then make his way to The Brewery Quarter for 2pm and Marks and Spencer for 3pm.

The Regent Arcade plays host to an epic ‘Dino Dig’ and face painting from 11am to 4pm so there is plenty for all the family to see and do throughout the day.

This is an entirely free event hosted by Cheltenham BID.
