High Street

Cheltenham’s High Street is at the heart of the town’s shopping scene, offering the best retail mix in the Cotswolds. From big-name brands to independent gems, this vibrant stretch is a must-visit for shoppers.

Shopping highlights

On the High Street you’ll find favourite high street names including John Lewis, M&S, Boots, Primark, Next, Urban Outfitters and more.

The Regent Arcade Shopping Centre connects directly to the High Street and The Promenade, with stores such as H&M, HMV, Flying Tiger, and Decathlon plus an upscale Everyman Cinema - Tivoli

At the north-western end, the High Street blends into The Brewery Quarter, home to shops, restaurants, and leisure activities. At the south-eastern end, it meets Bath Road, a favourite shopping area for locals.

Just off the High Street, you’ll find Clarence Street, home to Superdry (founded here in Cheltenham), along with coffee shops, independent boutiques, and The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum.

Places to eat & drink

The High Street and streets just off it is packed with cafés, restaurants, and pubs – perfect for a mid-shop break.
