On the Spring bank holiday weekend of Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June 2022 it's time for the return of the fabulous Cotswold Festival of Steam Gala. Book the date in your diary. More details coming soon.
What is the Cotswold Festival of Steam?
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's spectacular Cotswold Festival of Steam usually features at least eight locomotives in steam over the late May bank holiday weekend.
An intensive timetable gives steam train fans plenty of opportunity to ride behind all of the locomotives and some trains feature double-heading and interesting combinations of motive power. Attractions usually include the North Gloucestershire Narrow Gauge Railway; trade and preservation stands; traction engines; beer tent; 'behind the scenes' visits to the railway's large Carriage & Wagon workshops and much more. This is a family friendly event which train enthusiasts of any age will enjoy.
