Our first visit was to the elegant Malmaison Hotel, just a short stroll away through the town's Regency streets. Here, we were pleasantly surprised with a cocktail making masterclass led by a skilled mixologist. The group learnt the art of crafting the perfect Mojito and Espresso Martini, which proved to be a delightful and engaging start to our trip. There was friendly competition amongst the group which added an extra element of excitement as they mixed and shook their own unique creations.

In addition to the cocktail class, the guests were treated to delicious canapés and a guided tour of the hotel. Each room featured luxurious roll top baths, adding a touch of elegance to the accommodation. The hotel's contemporary courtyard provided a charming setting for private gatherings and drinks receptions.

We proceeded on foot from Malmaison to visit its sister hotel Hotel Du Vin, for a delightful private lunch. The team at Hotel du Vin, along with their knowledgeable sommelier, truly elevated the entire experience into a truly unforgettable occasion. Every member of the PA Life Club was also gifted a lavish goody bag, complete with a bottle of their finest house wine.

Our next stop on the agenda was a visit to the luxurious Ellenborough Park Hotel & Spa, a prestigious 5-star countryside hotel nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds, just a short taxi ride away from Cheltenham town centre. The hotel is situated in 90 acres of stunning grounds, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and boasts a rich history dating back over 500 years. Before indulging in a delightful champagne afternoon tea, we were treated to a comprehensive tour of the hotel including the luxurious indoor spa and the serene outdoor spa garden retreat. We viewed the Old Chapel, a stunning event space for executive meetings or dining with a capacity of 30 for boardroom meetings or up to 100 for drinks receptions. The space also works perfectly with the Old Chapel Pavilion as an outdoor event space for BBQs and outdoor events.

Trip testimonial:

Thank you so much for an incredible FAM TRIP of Cheltenham, it was the trip that kept on giving that is for sure!

I just personally wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the venues for their amazing welcome, hospitality and for looking after the PA’S so well; the feedback we have had has been so positive and I think this will be a trip that will stand out for future opportunities for corporate events.

Lucy Gallivan – PA Life

I would like to extend my gratitude for the exceptional showcase / PA Life Fam Trip experienced! The blend of magnificent venues and unparalleled hospitality surpassed all expectations.  Whilst I acknowledge my bias as a proud Cheltonian, the undeniable truth is that this event was a true spectacle.  Each moment was a testament to the grandeur and warmth that defines this remarkable town and surrounding areas.
