On 17th June, a local charity, the Pied Piper Appeal held their ‘Right Royal’ Annual Ball at Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham.
The Pied Piper Appeal is the leading children’s charity in Gloucestershire. Their mission is to make a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the county.
160 guests were welcomed to the hotel and enjoyed arrival drinks served in the Garden Lounge and then dined in the Executive Suite followed by an evening full of entertainment and dancing organised by the client.
Guests were served delicious dishes of Tomato and mozzarella salad, roast chicken breast with garlic and herb potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a red wine jus followed by warm chocolate brownie dusted with cocoa and cream, teas and coffees.
The Executive Suite is a multi-functional event space that can accommodate up to 320 for a banquet and is suitable for large conferences, fundraisers, AGMs, exhibitions, association events or team building.
Client testimonial
We were so pleased to have chosen the Leonardo Hotel in Cheltenham for our Pied Piper Ball this year. As it was the Kings official birthday the theme was ‘A Right Royal Ball’ with crowns, royal selfie sticks on the tables with two ladies walking round at the beginning as Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I.
The service and food was first class and impressive that 160 meals came out piping hot. It was an action packed night of entertainment with Taiko drummers to begin the evening, Singing waiters after dessert and the live band Dancin Easy to finish off with a diamond ring raffle, heads and tail and auction raising £8500 in between the food too.
We will definitely be rebooking the venue for next year – we just need a theme. Thanks to all concerned.
