New Restaurant Openings in Cheltenham

The Woozy Pig - 50 Suffolk Rd, Cheltenham

The Woozy Pig - Cheltenham’s beloved burger, banger and BBQ brand - is finally opening its first brick & mortar restaurant in The Suffolks.

Since launching from an airstream in 2017, The Woozy Pig has built a loyal following with dirty burgers, loaded dogs and pulled meat baps served at festivals, events and Dunkertons Park.

Now it’s stepping into its own space between Baker & Graze and Bhoomi Kitchen. The menu promises something for every appetite - brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails and craft beer.

Rainbowls – 3 Montpellier Terrace, Cheltenham

After the success of its original Fairview location, Rainbowls is bringing its vibrant, health-packed menu to Montpellier, taking over the former Loaf & Co space.

Launched in 2023, Rainbowls has made waves with its açai bowls and wellness-focused fare, expanding quickly beyond Cheltenham to Bristol and Worcester.

Jai Ho Street Food - Dowdeswell Park, Cheltenham

The team behind JM Socials has brought their bold Indian barbecue concept, Jai Ho, to Dunkertons Park following a hugely popular debut in Bishop’s Cleeve earlier this year.

Inspired by Indian street food and flame-grilled flavour, Jai Ho serves up spice-packed plates like chat bombs, poppadoms with chutneys, and smoky masala butter prawns.

Suffolk Coffee - 100 Promenade, Cheltenham

Suffolk Coffee, one of Cheltenham’s favourite indie coffee shops, is opening a second location this May, right on the Promenade above Russell & Bromley.

The new café will carry the same locally sourced ethos as the original. Think artisan coffee from Ritual Coffee Roasters, loose leaf tea from Born Wild Tea, and juices from Bensons.

Spotlight on – JM Socials

JM Socials is the brainchild of lifelong friends and food enthusiasts Jay and Michael, whose shared passion for bold flavours and unique dining experiences has shaped some of Cheltenham’s most beloved restaurants.

Their collaborative energy and creative flair have led to a diverse portfolio of culinary destinations, each with distinct character. From the refined Indian cuisine of Bhoomi Kitchen and the acclaimed Prithvi, to the smoky indulgence of Bao + BBQ and the gourmet burgers of Holee Cow, JM Socials brings innovation to every plate.

Jai Ho and The Mayflower celebrate international influences, while For the Saints delivers contemporary British fare in a relaxed setting. One of their most recent restaurants, meanwhile, Circo Brasserie, blends brasserie charm with an elevated twist. Across Cheltenham and Oxford, Jay and Michael continue to redefine the region’s food scene.
