At Nagomi, Cheltenham's Japanese-Korean BBQ and hotpot spot, it's not just diners falling for the menu — the team dishing it out have their own favourites too.
We asked five of the Nagomi crew what they order when they're ordering in or grabbing a post shift takeaway.

Jelson | Head Chef
Originally from the Philippines, Jelson runs the kitchen at Nagomi, and when he's away from the pots and pans his order he loves the Kobe Fried Rice. Rich, savoury and finished with crispy shallots - as he puts it, "rice is life."

Reiko | Sous Chef
Reiko, from Japan, is all about the Yakiniku — grilling at the table is a taste of home for her. Her order of choice is the pork samgyeopsal, wrapped up fresh with all the trimmings.

Bambi | Front of House
Bambi's pick is Nagomi's new Choregi Salad, a punchy Korean-style leaf salad dressed with sesame. As a vegan, she always adds the tofu on top for extra protein — and reckons it's the freshest thing on the menu.

Angie | Front of House
For Angie, there's nothing better than a Corn Dog (the spicy one) — crisp, golden and finished with a swirl of bibimap sauce & mayo. It's playful and very moreish.

Leia | Front of House
Leia keeps it simple with our Korean mandu dumplings — crispy, golden parcels she'll happily eat as a starter, a side, or a quick bite between shifts.
