Gloucestershire’s leading performing arts venue, The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, is well-known for its beloved annual pantomime, and this year’s production will be Cinderella (27th November 2026 – 10th January 2027), and will feature familiar faces and returning favourites among its outstanding cast of talented performers and producers.

The Everyman Theatre’s annual panto is known as the county’s biggest and best, with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud moments and signature mischief and mayhem. Combined with a spectacular set, dazzling costumes and the beautiful surroundings of the Everyman’s ornate auditorium, it has become a festive season highlight for many families across Gloucestershire.

This year, Cinderella will feature a superb cast , including Gloucestershire’s favourite clown and chief mischief-maker, Tweedy as Cinderella’s best friend, Buttons.

Returning Everyman Theatre favourites Kevin Brewis (who most recently played Dame Nursie in The Everyman Theatre’s 2025-26 production of Robin Hood) and Miles Western (Baddie Abanazar in The Everyman Theatre’s 2024-25 panto, Aladdin) are back as the infamous Ugly Sisters, along with Dominic Treacy (who played Kaleb in The Everyman Theatre’s Mother Goose panto in 2023-24) performing the role of the Prince’s aide, Dandini. Olivia Bella will make her Everyman Theatre debut this year taking the role of Cinderella.

Tweedy commented:

“I can’t wait to get back on stage for more shenanigans at The Everyman’s panto this year, playing the role of Buttons. Everyone knows the classic story of Cinderella, but we’ll give it our signature twist with catchy tunes, silliness and lots of festive fun!”

Off stage, the talent continues, with creative geniuses Sam Holmes and Nick Winston returning to write and direct, as they have done for each panto at The Everyman Theatre since 2019. Ben Harrison returns as Sound Designer, Andrew Exeter as Set and Lighting Designer, and Stewart J. Charlesworth as Costume Designer (all previously nominated in the UK Pantomime Awards recognising their outstanding talent and creativity).

Mark Goucher, CEO of The Everyman Theatre, said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome back some familiar faces from our past pantomimes, as well as our excellent creative team. We pride ourselves on creating a world-class live show that has become an annual festive tradition for many families across Gloucestershire. Cinderella is said to be the UK’s favourite panto, and we’re excited to put our special Everyman Theatre touch to it”
