Cheltenham’s summer line-up is as diverse as it is exciting. Family-friendly favourites include the Cheltenham Science Festival (2-7 June), Food & Drink Festival (19-21 June) and Summer Jam at The Brewery Quarter (26-28 June), bringing hands-on activities, great food and live entertainment into the heart of town.

Sports fans are equally well catered for. Highlights include the Cheltenham 7s Festival (31 July-1 August), Cheltenham Running Festival (14 June) and Run Cheltenham (20 September), alongside the thrill of the Prescott Motorsport Festival (13 June) and the much-loved Cheltenham Cricket Festival (8-24 August).

Music and culture take centre stage with the internationally renowned Cheltenham Music Festival (3-11 July) and the atmospheric Tuckwell Open Air Theatre Festival (11-23 August). As summer draws to a close, Cheltenham Heritage Open Days (11-20 September) offer a unique chance to explore hidden architectural gems. For something a little different, the GWSR Ale Festival (12-14 June) combines heritage steam travel with local brews.

Across the season, Cheltenham’s pubs and social spots will also be screening major sporting moments - from Wimbledon to the British Grand Prix and the FIFA World Cup matches. Venues such as Tailors, Flight Club Darts Cheltenham and Dunkerton’s Cider offer a lively atmosphere to soak it all in.
