This winter, Ellenborough Park invites guests to curl up with a good book, enjoy a glass of mulled wine and discover the stories behind the stories, as the elegant Cotswolds country house hotel announces a special Festive Literary Programme. The event will feature four much-loved authors and broadcasters: Prue Leith, Larry Lamb, Kate Humble, and Reeta Chakrabarti.

Taking place over four consecutive Sundays from 29th November to 20th December 2026, the series will bring literary enthusiasts together in the hotel’s historic Great Hall for a programme of lively conversation, personal insights and literary discovery. Each afternoon offers guests the opportunity to hear directly from the people behind the books, with Fiona Lindsay interviewing Prue Leith and Kate Humble, and renowned broadcaster Hugh Pym leading a conversation with Reeta Chakrabarti. Set against the warmth and charm of a traditional countryside Christmas, the series promises an engaging and intimate celebration of literature.
