The Cheltenham Trust are delighted to announce a series of cracking festive events, headlined by the legendary DJ Chris Moyles hosting the ultimate Christmas party - Deck the Hall - at the iconic Cheltenham Town Hall on Friday 19 December.

Party like it’s 1999 with a set packed full of 90s and 00s anthems, Christmas classics, and feel-good favourites. Deck the Hall with Chris Moyles is the best Christmas party in town, packed full of floor filling tunes and nostalgic dance anthems that defined a generation. Supported by local favourite, DJ Louis Capaldi, this trip down memory lane is the perfect way to bring in the festive season for music lovers.

Enjoy delicious street food, festive drinks, and a photo-ready selfie spot that’s perfect for capturing the moment with friends, family and colleagues.

Deck the Halls with Chris Moyles at Cheltenham Town Hall

 

For comedy lovers, a series of laugh out loud evenings at the Cheltenham Town Hall, headlining with Live at Christmas with Sam Campbell, Mike Wozniak, Tom Rosenthal and Amy Gledhill.

Some of the country’s top comedians will join forces for an all-star festive comedy showcase on Monday 8 December. Featuring champion of Channel 4’s Taskmaster, Sam Campbell, cult comedy hero, Mike Wozniak, star of Channel 4’s Friday Night Dinner, Tom Rosenthal, superstar in the making, Sharon Wanjohi and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Amy Gledhill as host.

Fans of the iconic British sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo are sure to enjoy this interactive comedy dinner show, ‘Allo ‘Allo Comedy Dining on Friday 5 December where the audience feel as though they are dining in Rene and Edith’s Café as Rene juggles the Gestapo, the Resistance, his secret affairs and his wife.

The evening begins in the bar over pre-dinner drinks, followed by a three-course meal as the drama of the show unfolds. Featuring all the most famous bits from the original show, whilst having a narrative all of its own. A unique night for ‘Allo ‘Allo fans!

Get ready for an adult comedy dining experience like no other, with Dick Whittington’s Adult Panto Comedy Dining on Friday 12 December. Dick Whittington’s Pussy has gone missing, which is causing him distress. He’s gone to London to search for his soulmate – but the fact that he’s dressed like the Principal Boy from a panto, complete with skirt and long boots, leads to a few misunderstandings among the locals.

As the tale unfolds, diners will enjoy a three-course festive feast as the action plays out all around them. Packed with cheeky jokes, outrageous characters, and Christmas sparkle, this naughty-but-nice tale is strictly for grown-ups.

 

Christmas performances at Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room 2025

 

From classic Christmas film soundtracks to big band swing and toe-tapping musicals to seasonal sing a-longs to fill you with festive cheer, music is front and centre this season.

The Christmas Orchestra returns for a night of Christmas movie music on Tuesday 9 December. The 16-piece chamber orchestra will perform festive favourites from Christmas films, as well as a few classic Christmas hits thrown in. Expect to hear recognisable scores from Elf (2003), Home Alone (1990), Harry Potter (2001), Love Actually (2003) and many more popular festive films.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary year, That’ll Be The Day returns on Wednesday 10 December with a toe-tapping Christmas show, packed full of festive favourites and Christmas chart-toppers from across the decades, plus a sprinkling of festive cheer and Christmas comedy.

Get into the festive spirit and sing-along to Christmas classics in this fun, feel-good, festive concert Step Into Christmas on Thursday 11 December, featuring a live band performing everything from heartwarming Christmas ballads to upbeat festive anthems.

Swing into Christmas with Down for the Count’s 30-piece big band with strings is set to bring its magical Christmas show to Cheltenham on Sunday 14 December. Directed by conductor and compère Mike Paul-Smith and featuring some of the UK’s top vocalists and instrumentalists, the orchestra recreates the well-known sounds of Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday in a unique festive performance full of joy and humour.

The Crooners Christmas Special brings a festive night of original comedy and superb music on Thursday 18 December. Blending laugh-out-loud antics, razor-sharp one-liners and the sensational sounds of Big Band swing to deliver a big dose of festive cheer and a special seasonal night to remember.
