Cheltenham Science Festival returns to Imperial Gardens (2-7 June) with something for curious minds of all ages, with a programme packed full of hands-on experiences, headline names, big ideas and even bigger questions.

Across six days, world-leading thinkers, scientists and change makers will host over 100 events and creative workshops, exploring some of the biggest questions impacting our day to day lives. Covering everything from health and wellbeing, sleep, psychology, AI climate change, our planet, the future of food and more, the Festival asks: how does science impact the way we live, think and feel?

Headline names appearing across the week include space scientist Maggie Aderin, broadcaster and geneticist Adam Rutherford, historian and anthropologist Alice Roberts, entrepreneur Deborah Meaden, neurologist Kevin Fong, broadcaster
Claudia Hammond, forensic scientist Angela Gallop, meteorologists Simon King and Clare Nasir, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales and former Liverpool FC Director of Research Ian Graham.

Families can expect an exciting strand of events designed to make learning fun and interactive, including Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition, Jurassic Science, The Great Big Bug Show, Pizza Chemistry with Great British Bake Off finalist Josh Smalley and Why Money Matters with Dragon’s Den’s Deborah Meaden.

Festival-goers can also enjoy free Interactive Zones for all ages, including the hands-on Discover Zone, creative MakerShack and The Arcade.
