Overseen by the Festival’s new Guest Curator, double-Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey-Rae, be part of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival 30th birthday year as it celebrates three decades of bringing world-class jazz and emerging talent to Montpellier Gardens. The Festival is thrilled to be supported by DEYA Brewery to bring the very best and emerging talent to Cheltenham in a new Partnership. Head to the newly titled DEYA Arena in the Festival Village for high energy and feel-good vibes. Grab a pint of the Festival’s commemorative DEYA beer, ‘Kind of Brew’ and dance along to Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca, Saharan desert blues collective Tinariwen, along with a 90s mixtape from DJ YODA and contemporary jazz from home-grown talent, saxophonist and vocalist Kim Cypher, plus London-based duo Blue Lab Beats, drummer and producer Makaya McCraven, fast emerging soul singer Nectar Woode and more.

And the festival party continues over at Parabola Arts Centre, with a programme bursting with adventurous new work and showcasing emerging talent. Highlights include forward-thinking saxophonist Emma Rawicz; a specially commissioned show from Yazz Ahmed, British jazz tuba player Theon Cross, acclaimed saxophonist Camilla George and so much more.
Following on from Cheltenham Festivals’ 80th campaign – the charity that brings Cheltenham Jazz Festival to life – this year the Festival continues to stage the very best young musical talent in a sold-out Big Family Gig. Come along to the Free Stage for Jazz it Up and …around town and see emerging musicians in action, where your support alone enables hundreds of children to continue experiencing jazz music in fun, welcome and inclusive ways.
Staging international stars, Big Top tickets for motown-inspired vocalist Jalen Ngonda and Guy Barker’s Big Band and BBC Concert Orchestra are selling out fast. Marking the centenary of Miles Davis, the special orchestral concert will feature exclusive arrangements and guest performers, celebrating the enduring influence of one of the most important and influential figures in jazz history.
