From Christmas barrow to Cheltenham High Street favourite.
The Little Coffee & Donut Stall is proudly celebrating 20 years on Cheltenham High Street. What began as a seasonal Christmas barrow has grown into a much loved town favourite, serving barista coffee made with locally roasted beans, freshly made donuts and sweet or savoury crêpes, all crafted with pride by this family run independent business.

History of The Little Coffee and Donut Stall
The Little Coffee & Donut Stall began life as a Christmas barrow in Cheltenham town centre. Serving freshly made donuts, crêpes and homemade fudge to festive shoppers beneath the town’s beautiful Regency buildings and Christmas lights, it quickly became a popular stop during the busy Christmas season. Originally licensed to trade only during the Christmas period, from 2005 through to 2014, the stall soon became part of many families’ festive traditions.
Over the years customers would often say they knew Christmas had arrived in Cheltenham when the Little Coffee & Donut Stall returned to the High Street.

The stall has always been a true family effort. Billy and his sister India both grew up around it, helping out at weekends and during school holidays. Many customers remember visiting as children themselves, and now return with their own families, something that makes the journey of the last 20 years particularly special.
Building the new stall
As the business grew from seasonal trading to operating throughout the year, it was time to create something new. Working with Cheltenham Licensing and Cheltenham BID, a contemporary stall with natural wooden cladding was designed to sit beautifully within the town’s historic High Street. William and Billy then built the stall together, with India helping paint and decorate the cladding, a real family effort to create the stall you see today.
