Pumpkin picking at Primrose Vale
Tel: 01452 863359
Due to the interactive nature of the annual Halloween trail, it cannot go ahead this year, however the farm will still be open over the October half term holidays for visitors to head to the fields to pick a pumpkin.
Primrose Vale will be releasing tickets online over the half term week (24th Oct – 1st Nov) and week before – starting 17th October. Tickets will be released each day at 5pm for the following day. Tickets are free, and will allow visitors to enter and walk to the pumpkin patch following a one way system, from where there will be thousands of pumpkins to choose from, plus lots of photo opportunities with some true monsters!
Group sizes are limited to 6, and will be in accordance with any current government guidelines. (This of course may be subject to change should rules change further). They don’t expect to be busy Mon – Fri 19th – 23rd but ticketing will be in place to avoid unexpected crowds!
The pumpkin patch is not in a muddy field – due to the nature of our site we have created an area on grass, which should mean less muddy feet and cleaner pumpkins!
A limited number of sanitised wheelbarrows will be available for hire (£2 per use) should you not wish to carry your pickings in your arms!
The play area will also be ticketed with timed sessions, with time for the team to clear down for the next group…
Pumpkins will also be for sale in the shop if you do not wish to pick your own, from the 24th to 31st October
Hot drinks and light refreshments will also be available.
