About
The Friends of Sandford Parks are hosting a vibrant and fun filled day of great music, food, drink and children's games on Sunday 8th September in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal. From 11-3.30pm. Free entry.
Come and enjoy a Sunday of vibrant music, delicious picnics and sparkling drinks in Sandford Park. Fun for all the family with games for children while you are entertained by the tuneful Accidental Brass Collective and the Samba rhythms of the Silver Sambistas.
Come and enjoy an eclectic mix of pop and classical music from the Accidental Brass Collective - a local group whose repertoire ranges from Mozart to Mercury! Then the local amazing Samba band - The Silver Sambistas will fill the park with their irresistible steel band rhythms.
Delicious hot and cold food is offered by local food vendors. There will also be a bar serving beer, wine, Pimms and soft drinks. They will be providing reusable plastic glasses @ £1 each to reduce single use plastic. Feel free to bring your own picnic drinking containers but real glass is not advisable for an outdoor event in a park.
Beat the Christmas stress and discover some lovely gifts on the arts and craft stalls from local artisans and charities
Meanwhile children can enjoy exploring a fire engine, entering some races (small cost), playing table tennis (bring your own ball & bat) and other games.
Please bring some cash especially a few pound coins to pay for activities and to help towards the Mayor of Cheltenham's 2024/25 charity appeal.
They are grateful to Cleevely Electric Vehicles for sponsoring this event.
