The First Thursday of the Month
Join Holst Victorian House this autumn and winter for a series of story-telling evenings in the elegant Victorian Drawing Room on the first Thursday of the month.
Peter Gill presents a 45-minute talk based upon his research for his first local history book that was published in 1994. He will explore how the Cotswolds' spa town coped with the years of the Second World War – the influx of evacuees, the bombing raids, the new industries, the schools, the home guard and of course the Yanks!
Tickets are £20 per talk per person and include a glass of wine. Numbers are restricted to 17, so please book early to avoid disappointment. You can book online by clicking on any or all of the events below.
All performances start at 7:30 and last for about an hour. Click on the talks for more details including booking.
