Gloucester Tall Ships - 3rd - 5th June 2022
Gloucester Tall Ships is back for 2022 with a jam-packed schedule of family fun and entertainment, setting sail over Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Weekend, Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th June.
An event that originally inspired Hollywood producers to choose Gloucester Docks as a location to film the 2016 blockbuster, Alice Through the Looking Glass, come aboard and see these impressive Tall Ships first hand, experience live battle re-enactments and more over this three day event on the water.
There is lots of entertainment for all the family from sand sculptors, meeting seafaring characters from the past, flyboarders creating daredevil stunts on the water, a vintage fairground, and musicians bursting from every corner of the historic docks.
You can choose to book a time slot for your Boarding Pass which gives access to climb aboard each of the 6 magnificent Tall Ships.
You can also choose to book a Boarding Pass with Entry to the National Waterways Museum combined, which is a great saving on the usual museum entry price.
Children under 5 are free for both Boarding Passes and Museum Entry with a paying adult.
In the musuem you can find out more about the story of the Gloucester Docks and the surrounding waterways, with hands-on interactive exhibits. There will be family activities, the café will be open and you will be able to get out on the water with a trip on the historic Dunkirk Little Ship Queen Boadicea II* or a paddle boarding or kayak taster session with Discover Paddling**.
Existing annual pass holders will be able to get in free on the Tall Ships weekend, no need to buy the additional ticket. *Boat trips and paddleboarding are an additional cost. **Paddleboarding will need to be booked in advance at discoverpaddling .
