Three days packed full of top-class racing action which is kicked off with Countryside Day on the Friday raising money for Countryside Alliance and Injured Jockeys Fund. This fixture always welcomes the New Year in with style. Festival Trials Day – 27th January 2018

Combatting those January blues, Festival Trials Day gives racegoers the chance to witness great action as momentum builds towards The Festival. This is often the last meeting for horses in preparation for the main event of their season as the countdown has really started. The feature race of the day is the Betbright Chase which often features many Gold Cup contenders.

The Festival & Gold Cup – 13th – 16th March 2018

The Festival is often described as the Olympics in racing. With four action-packed days of elite racing, some of the biggest races in sport are run with the final day of the fixture providing the famous Timico Gold Cup. Other racing highlights throughout the week include the Stan James Champion Hurdle, the RyanAir Steeple Chase and the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase adding a royal touch. There is a variety of entertainment on throughout the week with live music playing throughout the course and the famous Guinness Village celebrating with typical Irish flair on St Patrick’s Thursday, as well as the glamourous event that is Wednesday’s Ladies Day.

The April Meeting – 18th and 19th April 2018

A two-day mid-week fixture in the springtime sunshine offers racegoers the chance to watch their favourite stars wind down for the season as the jumps season begins to wrap up. The April Meeting provides visitors with an opportunity to experience a more gentle side of Cheltenham yet still be treated with some top-class racing.

Hunter Chase Evening – 4th May 2018

A season finale giving amateur jockeys their chance to take centre stage at racing’s own ‘Theatre of Dreams.’ It is a fixture that draws a large local crowd that is the only chance to bring family, friends, colleagues and clients to an evening of racing at Cheltenham. The celebrations continue post-racing as a top DJ will be joining us to perform a live set and will be supported by a local band.
