The Sandford Park Alehouse in the town centre was winner of the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) national pub of the year and is home to a quality choice of real ale. Housed in a Grade II listed building, the décor combines old and new, and is home to a popular outdoor courtyard where people enjoy a beer under the trees. Since opening in 2013, the pub has served more than 1,400 draught ales on tap, and has more than 20 beers on draught at any one time. They are also home to more bottle-conditioned beers than you can count and boast several hundred in their menu! You really will be spoiled for choice, and of course, it’s not just about beer – they have a great pub grub menu too.

John Gordon’s in Montpellier has two bars either side of a courtyard; one specialising in Whisky and Wine, and the other specialising in Gin. Meanwhile Montpellier Wine Bar has been a Cheltenham favourite for years, with its iconic façade at the top of Montpellier.
