Live music, award-winning food and a flight of wine will help to see in the New Year in style as a Cheltenham hotel hosts a glitzy six-course black tie gala dinner.
Birmingham pop-funk trio Vista will perform at The Greenway Hotel and Spa, in Shurdington, as part of the hotel’s New Year’s Eve celebrations on December 31.
The boutique hotel is hosting a six-course dinner event, kicking off with cocktails and canapes from 7pm before a fabulous dinner matched with a wine flight.
Vista are well known for their energising shows and covers of crowd pleasers, from Bruno Mars, to Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse.
The three-piece have featured on BBC and Channel 4 as well as performed for Radio 1, Jools Holland’s Jam House and even members of Rod Stewart’s family.
Craig Routledge, who has recently been named as the new General Manager at The Greenway Hotel and Spa, said: “It’s great to be able to put on an event like this for Cheltenham and The Greenway Hotel is such an idyllic setting to see the new year in!
“This will be my first New Year at Greenway as General Manager so I’m really looking forward to a fantastic evening of music, food and celebration.”
The 16th century luxurious Elizabethan manor house hotel is set in eight acres of stunning countryside grounds in Shurdington off the A46, on the outskirts of the rolling Cotswolds.
It holds a 4 AA Red Star rating and includes relaxation in the sumptuous Elan Spa, which has been awarded 5 bubbles from the Good Spa Guide, and fine dining at the 3AA Rosette Garden Room restaurant.
Tickets for the New Year's Eve gala dinner are £165 per person for non-resident dining.
The hotel is also offering a two-night break, which sees guests check in on December 30 and settling down in the evening with a four-course candlelit dinner.
New Year's Eve starts with a breakfast, and builds up to the evening’s black tie dinner, before starting the new year in style with a fantastic Champagne brunch. Prices start from £615 per person.
