With the cost-of-living crisis ever worsening, £2 won’t get you far this Christmas…maybe a mince pie, a sprig of holly or a bauble or two. Well, there’s great news from Stagecoach West this festive season. The bus company is offering a day’s travel within Cheltenham and Gloucester, for groups of up to four people, every Saturday before Christmas for just £2 per group!

Simply hop on board any local bus service on a Saturday in December and ask for a ‘Cheltenham and Gloucester Group DayRider’. The total cost of the ticket will be just £2 and for that, up to four people will be able to travel all day within the Cheltenham and Gloucester zone.

Rachel Geliamassi, Managing Director of Stagecoach West says, “We’re delighted to offer our passengers a saving this festive season. What better way to enjoy all the delights of Cheltenham and Gloucester at Christmas than by bus?  No queues or searching for that elusive parking space, not to mention the cost of fuel.

“We’re all feeling the pinch, but we don’t want that to deter families and friends from making memories together this Christmas. By offering our Cheltenham and Gloucester Group DayRider ticket at a discounted rate of £2, we hope it’ll encourage people to enjoy the great festive events happening this December.”

Heath Gunter, Chief Executive Cheltenham BID says, “Well done to Stagecoach West for introducing this offer during the festive period. At a time when we are all looking for more affordable ways to travel, I don’t think you can beat £2 for a group ticket for four people! Cheltenham BID is pleased to support this offer and looks forward to seeing Stagecoach West customers in the town centre.”

The Cheltenham and Gloucester Group DayRider can be used for groups of four or fewer and covers travel anywhere beginning or ending in the Cheltenham and Gloucester zone. The offer is available on Saturday 3, Saturday 10, Saturday 17 and Saturday 24 December (ending at Midnight on Christmas Eve or until the last bus for services that finish earlier).
