Visitors to Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park can expect a treat this November & December as it transforms into a winter wonderland! With the addition of a brand-new Father Christmas Experience and the return of their ever-popular Enchanted Light Trail.

The Farm Park, which was this year voted Gloucestershire’s Favourite Family Day Out, will expand their festive offering for 2022, allowing visitors to choose from a selection of day and evening activities in a package that will offer extra value for money on their Christmas adventures.

Christmas activities at Cotswold Farm Park

Those lucky enough to visit Father Christmas are promised a truly unique experience as they meet the jolly man himself. Parents will have the option to submit information about each child, allowing Father Christmas to personalise the experience, before receiving a magical Christmas currency to select a gift from the Festive Gift Shop. And that’s not the only memento children will be taking home. As part of the experience, they will also pay a visit to the Make-a-bear Workshop to create their very own soft teddy.

The adventure doesn’t end there either with Christmas on the Farm! Daytime visitors will also be invited to a festive gingerbread decorating session, followed by a wander through the park to meet its collection of 50+ rare-breed farm animals. This is included in the price of the Father Christmas ticket, offering ultimate value for money.

Families who visit Father Christmas in the evening will instead be invited to toast delicious S’mores around a crackling fire pit, followed by an adventure around the visitor attraction’s much-loved Enchanted Light Trail, which has a brand-new theme for 2022.

Christmas lights and dining at Cotswold Farm Park

Through the Wardrobe’, the new Enchanted Light Trail story, will see the once recognisable Cotswold Farm Park grounds magically transformed into a land of snow and ice, with barns, paddocks and woodland illuminated with twinkling lights. This experience will offer visitors the opportunity to meet a friendly fawn and feed the farm’s animals before bedtime, making magical memories as they explore the grounds after hours.

The new storyline also features a Winter Ball in which visitors will be invited to dance amongst music, disco balls and indoor play. The Farm Park’s Conservation Area will also be recreated into the Ice Queen’s Lair, featuring mysterious creatures, and the opportunity to capture a magical family photo amongst a glorious banquet.

Farmer and TV Presenter, Adam Henson, said, “This year we are embracing the festive spirit once again and inviting everyone to join us for ‘Christmas on the Farm'. Choose from an extra special visit to see Father Christmas, an evening stroll around our stunning new themed Light Trail and, of course, enjoy the winter beauty of our unique Cotswolds location.”

As a final treat, there will be several food outlets, including The Ox Shed bar & restaurant, open to offer visitors the chance to warm up with some tasty winter delights. The Farm Park’s Festive Gift Shop will also be stocked with handpicked seasonal gifts for some last-minute Christmas shopping.

Enchanted Light Trail: Through the Wardrobe opens to visitors on selected dates from Friday 25th November until 31st December with tickets from £12 - £25.

The Father Christmas Experience will be open on selected dates from 2nd - 23rd December, with tickets from £15 - £45, including entrance to the Farm Park/Enchanted Light Trail depending on the time of your booking.

Tickets for both events can be purchased from https://cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk. An Early Bird discount will be available on all bookings made before November 25th. Members will then continue to enjoy a 20% discount until November 25th.
