Cheltenham Borough Council has made local arrangements for residents to pay their respects, following the announcement of the sad death of Her Majesty the Queen.

Local proclamation

Following the national proclamation, the Mayor will read the local proclamation on Sunday 11 September, on the steps of the Municipal offices at 1400 hrs to official invitees and members of the public.

Floral tributes

An area of pavement in front of the Long Gardens (Promenade pavement) will be available to place flowers throughout the period of mourning.
