Cheltenham Festivals

Our local charity, Cheltenham Festivals, are continuing to provide entertainment and an outlet for creativity during this unsettled period with FestCast a podcast which showcases content produced at our four extraordinary and unique festivals. Head to their podcast for a full list of episodes including an interview with J.K. Rowling and Hillary Clinton.

To watch events from past festivals featuring the likes of David Attenborough, Tan France and Nadiya Hussain head to their YouTube channel.

And finally check out their Spotify playlists carefully curated by the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Music Festival programming teams. Whatever your taste, whatever your mood, there’s something there for you. It’s an ideal way to explore Jazz and classical music, if you aren’t already a fan. ⁠

Leisure At Cheltenham

Our local leisure centre run by the Cheltenham Trust have launched a brilliant initiative called #StayFitCheltenham to help local people stay fit and well, both physically and mentally, during these challenging times.  It’s a virtual fitness programme and also an online platform where people can share their pictures and tips on what they’re doing to keep fit and healthy during the current health crisis. The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum

Our local art gallery, also run by the Cheltenham Trust, have launched #HumanKindChelt virtual exhibition celebrating our community. The aim of the initiative is to capture and recognise the kindness and generosity of individuals and communities in Cheltenham, the heroes of the day during this time of crisis, with a virtual exhibition that everyone can enjoy. The Playhouse Theatre, Cheltenham

The Brewery Quarter prides itself on being a 'one-stop shop where you can shop-dine-stay and play!' It was Cheltenham’s first proper brewery when it was founded in 1760 by local maltster and baker, Thomas Gardner. Gardner’s Brewery flourished and expanded and in 1888 was registered as Cheltenham Original Brewery Ltd.
