Tuesday 23rd July marks 147 years since Edward Wilson’s birth in Montpellier Parade, Cheltenham.  Why not pop along to the The Wilson this week to join in with the celebratory activities taking place on until the 28th July?

Thursday 25th July 6pm - Find out about the work the Patron of the art gallery is most famous for, his beautiful Nature Notebooks. The notebooks show his love of the hills and woods around Cheltenham, his scientific approach to recording wildlife and his development as an artist.  Book tickets here.

Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July - Nature Trail Workshops - Create your own Nature Notebooks during fun, guided craft workshops. All ages welcome (children must be accompanied).  Have your work displayed at The Wilson at the end of the summer. Ticket available from just £3 per child here. 

Create your own Nature Handbook, Summer Holiday Challenge - Submissions open until 23rd August. What can you see all around you, in your local area, your school playground, your back garden?  Submit your notebook by 23rd August to the Wilson front desk, the entries will be judged by a panel and short-listed entries will be exhibited for public display at The Wilson Art Gallery and museum from 28th August-1st September.  For more details click here.

    I come in your beautifull and quiet town sinze à very long tome and many years.
    À few years agora, i have Shop in the tourisme Center à beautifull "gravure" in french of Cheltenham.
    I have loosed this gravure , is it possible to Shop online with the Cheltenham tourisme office or the Wilson Gallery.
