Cheltenham Gin Fest

For every gin lover in Cheltenham, there's over 75 varieties of gin on offer at this Festival. Most are not available on the High Street and can be found exclusively at the event!

Sons of Pitches

Date: 7 November

All-male acapella group, The Sons of Pitches of BC2 The Naked Choir fame, are coming to Cheltenham Town Hall for an explosive performance. Expect fast-paced medleys and mind-bending mashups as The Sons of Pitches attempt to hit their target of 100 legendary tracks in just one evening.

Jools Holland and Rhythm & Blues Orchestra

Date: 10 November

Musical master of ceremonies Jools Holland and his acclaimed Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are returning to The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse. This year, they will be joined by special guest Soft Cell frontman Marc Almond.

WW1 Centenary March

Date: 10 November

Location: Cheltenham Town Centre

As part of the Cheltenham Remembers Programme for the WW1 Centenary Commemoration, a memorial march is taking place in the Town Centre. The march will have representatives saying thank you to the 1,200 servicemen and servicewomen from Cheltenham, lost in WW1. Starting in Sandford Park, moving through the town and ending in Montpellier Gardens, it's sure to be a spectacular sight! The march is still calling for volunteers, or you can just turn up and watch.

WW1 Centenary Projection

Date: 11 November

Location: Municipal Offices, Promenade, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 9SA

The day after the march, commemorative events for the WW1 centenary will culminate in a grand finale with a poignant projection of a specially-commissioned commemorative film, onto the outside of the Municipal Buildings.

Christmas Market Launch

Date: 22 November to 15 December

Transforming The Promenade into a sea of wooden huts and Christmas gifts, the Christmas Market returns. 40 stalls make a great addition to the already fantastic Cheltenham shopping scene, with the added delight of warm Gluhwein and hot chocolate to keep you fuelled.

Christmas Light Switch On

Date: 24 November from 4pm

Location: Cheltenham Town Centre

With not one, not two, but three light switch on zones, Cheltenham town centre will be jam packed with entertainment and activities. The main centre lights will feature a street theatre performance inspired by The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe; The Brewery Quarter lights will feature entertainment inspired by The Greatest Showman, and The Regent Arcade will have Father Christmas and Cheltenham Boy Frankie Foster of Love Island fame...
