Cheltenham Science Festival

Dates: 5th-10th June

Location: Town Centre, Various Locations

With six days jam-packed with quirky, creative and everyday science to get your brain buzzing, there really is no excuse not to get hands-on in the Festival. Contrary to popular belief, the science-festival is not a brain-burner, but it is designed to tackle everyday topics, be interesting and relatable and most importantly be understood by all. It's not just biology, chemistry, physics either; there's everything from AI to religion, psychology to movie making and everything in between. There are more than 100 free events happening in the tents too, so make sure you pop down.

WW1 Commemoration: At Last the Fighting is Over

Dates: 9th June onwards

Location: Paper Store, Wilson Museum and Art Gallery, Clarence Street, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 3JT

Commemorating 100 years since WW1, a very special war memorial painting will go on display for the first time in years. It is a very special painting and definitely worth a viewing/ The picture will remain on display until March 2019, so plenty of time to pop down!
