Travelling to Cheltenham

Getting to Cheltenham

Cheltenham is the cultural centre for the Cotswolds - with good road and rail connections from London airports and the South East as well as from Birmingham to the north and Bristol in the south-west.

There are also local air connections for private light aircraft and flights to and from the Isle of Man, Jersey and Ireland through the local Gloucestershire Airport.  From Cheltenham you can get public transport connections to the market towns and villages of the Cotswolds or to Stratford, Bath and Oxford.  Touring the Cotswolds by public transport couldn't be easier - help with bus timetables is available in the Tourist Information Centre at The Wilson in Clarence Street.

Cheltenham is accessed via Junction 11 of the M5, making it easily accessible from all areas of the country, including Bristol, London and Birmingham, all of which are under a two hour drive from the town.
