Scenic Cotswold Coach Tours
Explore the Cotswolds and beyond on board a luxury coach, escorted by a registered Cotswold & Gloucestershire Tourist Guide. Tours will depart on Thursdays at 10.15am and will return usually around 5.30pm on the following dates:
Wool Towns of the Cotswolds
Thursday 15th July
This scenic drive takes us north over Cleeve Hill, down through Winchcombe and Broadway and on to the ancient wool town of Chipping Campden for a coffee stop. The tour continues to Stow-on-the-Wold's impressive town square for lunch. The afternoon drive takes us through Chipping Norton to the Cotswolds gateway town of Burford with its steep main street and church for afternoon tea or a spot of antique hunting.
Stratford-upon-Avon
Thursday 22nd July
Our trip to Stratford pauses in Tewkesbury then continues through the Vale of Evesham, famous for its fruit growing since medieval times. Stratford can be explored either on your own or with your Guide on an optional short walk on arrival. Admission to the Shakespeare properties is extra. On our return we stop for tea at the beautiful Cotswold town of Broadway.
Cotswold Edge and Severn Vale - NEW!
Thursday 29th July
This tour travels south, climbing the Cotswold hills to Painswick, the 'Queen of the Cotswolds', for a coffee stop, before continuing via Selsley to journey along the edge of the Cotswold escarpment, with breath-taking views over the Severn Vale. The afternoon is spent at either Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland Centre or Berkeley for the 12th century castle, the church and the home and museum of Dr Edward Jenner, the pioneer of smallpox inoculation.
Bath and the South Cotswolds
Thursday 5th August
Our picturesque journey heads south through Painswick to Bath. There is a brief coach tour of this internationally celebrated city. An optional short guided walk of the city centre is available on arrival (at no extra cost). The return journey takes us through the southern part of the Cotswolds, calling at the historic wool town of Tetbury.
Villages of the Cotswolds - NEW!
Thursday 12th August
This tour climbs Cleeve Hill and descends into Winchcombe before heading to the hill-top town of Stow-on-the-Wold for a coffee stop. We continue our journey to the wealthy wool town of Burford for lunch. The tour then follows the route of the picturesque River Windrush through many delightful Cotswold villages for a tea-stop at one of the best-preserved Roman villas in Britain.
Misarden Park Gardens and the Cotswolds - NEW!
Thursday 19th August
In the morning we visit Misarden Park, a timeless garden created in the 17th century with spectacular views and a Nursery with a comprehensive and inspiring range of plants. We then journey through the attractive and wooded valleys of the South Cotswolds for a lunch stop in Cirencester, a town with ancient origins. The afternoon's route takes us through picturesque Bibury to Northleach for tea.
Burford and the South Cotswolds
Thursday 26th August
Our tour takes us east to picturesque Bibury for coffee and then to Fairford for a photo-stop at the fine parish church. We continue through Lechlade to Burford for lunch and an optional short guided walk. Later we journey along the beautiful Windrush Valley and through Northleach to the Roman town of Cirencester for tea. We return through the Stroud valleys via the historic town of Painswick.

Goodrich Castle and the Forest of Dean - NEW!
Thursday 23rd September
Our tour stops for coffee at Nature in Art, a museum and art gallery dedicated to art inspired by nature. Goodrich Castle, set on a rocky outcrop with stunning views over the Wye Valley, gives a fascinating insight into life in a medieval castle. (Free audio guide available). Our return journey takes us through the ancient Forest of Dean, stopping for tea at Beechenhurst Lodge.
Westonbirt's Autumn Colour - AUTUMN SPECIAL!
Thursday 21st October
Our morning route takes us along the beautiful Slad Valley, then high up on to Minchinhampton Common, before stopping for lunch in Tetbury, a jewel of the Cotswolds. The afternoon is spent at the National Arboretum at Westonbirt to view its spectacular autumnal display (weather dependent). This attraction is mainly outdoors, so bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
