There is plenty to do in the town, with regular events at venues such as Cheltenham Town Hall, Pittville pump room and Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum.
Cheltenham Racecourse hosts numerous fixtures, including an annual horseracing festival and the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Greenbelt (a Christian arts and music festival) and Wychwood music festival. The Centaur at the racecourse is a large venue for conferences, events, concerts and exhibition.
Every year, Cheltenham Festivals organise music, jazz, literary, and science festivals in the town. Cheltenham also hosts a cricket and folk music festival.
Cheltenham has four theatres: the
Everyman, the
Playhouse, the
Bacon and the
Parabola Arts Centre. For film-lovers there is the
Cineworld multi-screen cinema and the
Screening Rooms at the Brewery.
